Zachry Group is seeking an Industrial Pipe Fitter to assemble, layout, install and maintain pipe systems for steam, fluid, or gas systems on job sites in varied environments. The role requires reading prints, adherence to safety, and collaboration with helpers and laborers.

Candidate must have 4+ years of pipe fitting experience on industrial construction projects, with strong communication and leadership abilities to work across teams and ensure quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Must have 4+ years working as an Industrial Pipe Fitter or Pipe Fitter Helper.
• Able to read blueprints and construction drawings.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience on an industrial construction project.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specification to determine the scope of work: locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required.
• Identify all tools required for tasks.
• Identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks.
• Prepare, fabricate, install, and fit pipe to specifications.
• Install valves, hangars, supports, flanges inside piping system according to plans and applicable specifications.
• Perform tests to ensure the quality of the pipe and the piping systems.
• Hoist loads using slings, chains, shackles, hooks, cables, and other rigging equipment.
