Qualifications

• 2+ years in industrial maintenance as an intermediate pipefitter; pulp and paper mill experience is a plus.
• Or 2+ years as welder with ability to pass pipe tests or stainless TIG test.
• AWS/WABO or equivalent welding certifications are a plus.
• Formal apprenticeship or education preferred.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and pass a multi-phase physical.
• Proficient reading measurements, blueprints and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair on piping systems and related equipment.
• Inspect, cut, weld, and fit piping components including carbon steel and stainless steel.
• Read or sketch blueprints and perform fit ups.
• Operate overhead cranes and various power tools safely.
• Collaborate with operators, engineers, and management.
