Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Read, write and communicate clearly with supervisor/co-workers.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environments.
• Pass drug test and background check if required by location.

Responsibilities

• Select type and size of pipe and related materials per specs.
• Plan installation/repair to avoid obstructions and interference.
• Cut pipe using saws, cutters, torches; thread and bend as needed.
• Assemble and install pipes with joints using appropriate methods.
• Secure pipes to structures with brackets, clamps and hangers.
• Install/maintain hydraulic and pneumatic components and controls.
• Test systems by increasing pressure and observing gauges.
• Operate machinery to verify repairs; observe safety and project rules.
