Job summary

VLink Inc. in New Orleans, LA seeks a Process Control Network and Windows Systems Administrator. The role covers PCN security, Windows server management, and OT cybersecurity onshore and offshore. On-site presence required at least 3 days/week in New Orleans, LA.

Responsibilities include maintaining PCN security controls, asset inventories, firewall management, and data transfer channel design. Travel to offshore platforms is expected, with HUET/TWIC readiness and HSSE compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years networking and Windows system administration
• 3+ years IT security within OT environments
• Proficient in Active Directory, Windows OS, and server/PC maintenance
• Strong skills in configuring switches, routers, firewalls and systems (Wintel/Linux)
• Knowledge of international industrial cyber security standards
• HUET certification required
• TWIC card required
• Must follow HSSE rules
• Bachelors or 4-year degree in IT or related experience
• Willing to respond to after-hours emergencies

Responsibilities

• Operate PCN cybersecurity controls including patching, antivirus, backup and asset inventory
• Provide IT support via network administration, server and workstation support
• Maintain asset inventory and network drawings of PCN components
• Design data channels and select technologies for data transfers
• Develop site procedures for PCN security compliance
• Monitor security measures and report non-compliance
• Perform site visits to production units for remediation
• Provide after-hours on-call support
• Travel offshore platforms (8 trips/year, ~3–5 days each)
• Design and review firewall rules aligned with customer security practices
• Monitor servers, networks and equipment using tools (SolarWinds, Splunk)
• Maintain and backup system configurations and secure backups
• Review logs and report possible intrusions and incidents
• Implement change management and testing for network security
• Patch and update network device firmware
