Job summary

Strategic Storage Partners, LLC seeks an experienced instrumentation and control systems engineer for our New Orleans operations. You will design and test control systems, prepare ECNs and SOWs, and lead improvements for major SPR programs.

Requirements include a bachelor’s in electrical/control/instrumentation engineering and at least 3 years in operational control systems, with strong communication skills and a willingness to lead technical teams. FE/PE is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical, control systems, or instrumentation engineering.
Minimum of 3 years of progressive engineering experience for operational control systems.
Ability to lead technical projects and present analyses and reports.
Knowledge of OT environments and cyber security basics is a plus.
FE certification or Texas/LA PE in Control/Electrical engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan and develop projects addressing instrument and control system problems affecting SPR programs.
Prepare feasibility studies and SOWs for maintenance or ECN changes.
Design, program, document, test configuration changes to DCS/PLC systems.
Support site acceptance tests and software discrepancy corrections.
Review changes and provide engineering analysis for safety and design.
