Job summary

International SOS is seeking a Paramedic for an industrial client in Reno, Nevada. The role involves direct and indirect clinical care within an interdisciplinary team, with a focus on patient advocacy and rapid response to emergencies.

The position requires current paramedic licensure in Nevada and strong English communication. The schedule is full-time, 3 weeks on/3 weeks off (Mon-Sat, 12-hour shifts) with reliable commuting to the work site.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of paramedic experience.
• Experience in a clinic setting (urgent care, emergency room, etc.)
• Occupational / industrial experience
• CPR Instructor

Responsibilities

• Assist medical providers with medical procedures and treatments as allowed within licensed scope of work.
• Assess and document patient vital signs and medical history.
• Establish patient goals using care plans within protocols.
• Report changes in patient conditions to the medical provider.
• Provide basic care and interventions (catheter insertions, samples, EKGs, wound care).
• Assist patients with activities of daily living as needed.
• Support and educate patients in health decisions.
• Maintain supply inventory and restock areas.
• Cross-train to work in clinics, emergency room, and inpatient units.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
