Job summary

International SOS is seeking a Full-time Day Shift Paramedic in Reno, NV. You will provide life-saving pre-hospital care, assess patients, and transport to hospitals while coordinating with interdisciplinary teams at a large global risk management company.

You must hold Nevada paramedic licensure and ACLS/BLS/CPR certifications, and have 3+ years of field experience. The role involves on-site work with a 3-week on/3-week off rotation and requires mobility to the client site.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited paramedic program.
• Active Nevada Paramedic State License.
• ACLS/BLS/CPR certification at minimum.

Responsibilities

• Operate ambulance equipment and respond to radio transmissions.
• Coordinate with the team responding to an emergency.
• Provide emergency care in basic and advanced life support.
• Respond to accidents and multiple traumas using ALS principles.
• Prepare patients for and transport to emergency department or healthcare facility.
• Document vital signs, history and medications; assist with procedures.
• Administer pre-hospital treatments and injections as permitted.
• Stabilize patients using tools and monitor vital signs; write incident reports.
