Job summary

Aerotek is hiring for a Panel Assembler in Smyrna, TN. You will build, wire, and test industrial control panels, working with both high- and low-voltage systems, using schematics and blueprints. First shift, contract-to-hire position with on-site work in Smyrna.

You will read schematics, wire panels with transformers, relays, drives, and PLCs, perform testing and troubleshooting, and ensure safety and quality standards in a clean manufacturing environment. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and blueprints.
• Experience wiring industrial control panels and assembling electrical components.
• Work with high- and low-voltage systems up to 480V AC and 24V DC.
• Proficient with hand tools and power tools for electrical/mechanical assembly.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret schematics to assemble control panels.
• Wire and assemble panels including transformers, relays, drives and PLCs.
• Perform electrical testing and troubleshoot to verify operation.
• Operate safely with high- and low-voltage systems.
• Maintain organized work area and meet production deadlines.
• Collaborate with team and follow documentation for specs.
• Work independently at assigned station from wiring to final checks.
