Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Painter for a contract-to-hire role based in North Salt Lake, UT. The job involves preparing, hanging, and packaging sheet metal parts in a hot shop environment, with the possibility to advance to a painter position for candidates with prior painting experience.

Responsibilities include lifting up to 40 pounds, hanging metal pieces on a conveyor, and inspecting for defects to meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with power tools, plating and coating.
• Proficiency with painting techniques and preparation.
• Experience with spray guns, industrial painting and HVLP spray.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, hang, and package sheet metal parts.
• Consistently lift up to 40 pounds.
• Hang metal pieces and place them on a conveyor belt.
• Inspect products for defects and ensure quality standards are met.
