Ascend Staffing is hiring a Powder Coating - Painter in North Salt Lake, UT. The role emphasizes industrial painting with weekly pay at the start rate of $17 per hour.

You will assist on the shop floor, utilize powder coating tools, and support daily production tasks in a fast-paced environment. Qualified candidates should have powder coating experience, be able to lift 50+ lbs, and pass drug screens and background checks.

Qualifications

• Painter experience preferred Powder Coating
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Able to work in the US
• Able to pass a background check
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work
• Comfortable using basic hand and power tools painting tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills
• Good communication skills and teamwork attitude
• Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of shop safety practices

Responsibilities

• Assist machine operators, welders, and technicians with daily production tasks
• Using powder coating tools, experience with different metal powder coating
• Load, unload, and move materials, parts, and equipment within the shop or yard
• Clean and prepare work areas, tools, and machinery for daily operations
• Perform basic assembly, grinding, sanding, or finishing work as directed
• Organize and restock materials, tools, and supplies to maintain efficient workflow
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Assist with measuring, cutting, or fitting parts under supervision
• Dispose of scrap materials and maintain a clean, safe workspace

Painter Powder CoaterTasks & Duties
