Job summary

Aerotek in Butte, MT is seeking an Industrial Painter for a contract position through November, with potential to move to full-time. You will operate air-assisted and conventional spray equipment to coat structural steel and pipe.

You will also maintain coatings inventory, prep surfaces with drills and grinders, and perform routine maintenance on equipment. This onsite role requires lifting 50+ lbs in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of labor experience.
• Ability to use hand tools.
• Intermediate math skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate air-assisted and conventional spray equipment to apply coatings to structural steel and pipe.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of coatings, solvents, and related materials.
• Use basic power tools such as drills and grinders for surface preparation.
• Operate sandblasting equipment to prepare parts for painting.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on painting and sandblasting equipment.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned.
• Lift 50+ lbs. as needed.
