Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0 - 1 years of related experience.
• Detail oriented with good workmanship and the ability to follow directions with minimal supervision.
• Proven track record of cross-functional teamwork.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate paint spray equipment, mixing equipment, booth equipment, ladders and lifts to apply coatings.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret tape measures, engineering drawings and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Accomplish daily painting production tasks efficiently.
• Ensure quality and proper material/equipment usage in painting assignments.
• Follow safety rules and procedures at all times.
• Plan work tasks according to production schedules.
• Prepare surfaces (sand/grind), apply primers and finish coats.
• Mix and match paints, clean spray guns and equipment.
• Work with potentially hazardous fumes using protective gear.
• Spend substantial time spray painting and maintain safety protocols.
