Astec is seeking an Industrial Painter to apply coatings to industrial equipment, prepare surfaces, mix paints, operate spray booths, and apply decals as needed. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and strict adherence to safety procedures.
You will work in a manufacturing environment, wearing protective gear, and collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure quality and production goals are met.

The Industrial Painter will be responsible for all aspects of painting Industrial Equipment. This includes preparing surfaces, mixing paint, utilizing spraying equipment, operating paint booths, rolling and touching up, applying decals, etc.

Shop manufacturing environment exposures include exposure to moving mechanical parts, machinery, tools and equipment, vibration, fumes or airborne particles, motorized vehicles, welding and machining operations, outside weather conditions and exposure to the risk of electric shock.The employee may occasionally be exposed to varying levels of dirt, dust, toxic or caustic chemicals, very warm and/or very chilly temperatures.The noise level in the shop can be very loud at times consistent with an industrial assembly facility and may require hearing protection.
