Qualifications

• Previous painting experience or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of painting and finishing techniques; hazardous materials handling and disposal.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a friendly, efficient customer service attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Applies protective and decorative coats of paint, varnish, lacquer, and related materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
• Washes, sands, and smooths surfaces prior to painting and finishing processes.
• Erects scaffolding, ladders, and access equipment to reach work areas.
• Selects colors in consultation with customers and matches/tints paints as needed.
• Identifies and disposes of paints and hazardous materials per safety policies.
