Job summary

Most work is on first shift with occasional alternates for high-traffic areas or special projects. Responsibilities include drywall repairs, project clean-up, and safety practices to ensure a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous painting experience in commercial, industrial, or facilities maintenance.
• Working knowledge of painting methods and surface preparation.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work first shift with flexibility for alternate shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, patching, and repairing minor wall damage.
• Apply paint, stains, coatings, varnishes, and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
• Perform drywall patching, repairs, texturing, and touch-up work as needed.
• Match colors and finishes to maintain a professional appearance throughout the facility.
• Use brushes, rollers, sprayers, ladders, scaffolding, and other painting equipment safely and effectively.
• Protect surrounding surfaces and maintain clean work areas during and after projects.
• Follow all safety procedures for handling, storing, and disposing of paints, solvents, and related materials.
