Job summary

Aramark Facilities Management is hiring a Maintenance Worker (Carpentry) in Parma, OH to support building maintenance and repair projects at a manufacturing facility.

The role focuses on carpentry work—repairing structures, installing components, and completing general facility tasks. Ideal candidates own basic tools and can work independently while upholding safety standards.

Most work is on first shift, with occasional shift changes based on project needs; compensation is $41.58 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years carpentry, building maintenance, construction, or facility repair experience.
• Must provide and maintain personal basic carpentry tools.
• Experience using common hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and ladders.
• Ability to work primarily first shift and occasionally adjust schedule based on project requirements.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attendance, reliability, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of carpentry repairs and maintenance projects throughout the facility.
• Repair, install, and maintain doors, windows, walls, trim, cabinets, and other building components.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and related materials using hand and power tools.
• Complete preventive and corrective maintenance work orders in assigned areas.
• Inspect buildings and facilities for maintenance needs and address issues safely and efficiently.
• Repair or replace damaged fixtures, hardware, and facility structures.
• Read basic drawings, measurements, and job specifications to complete assigned work.
• Use tools and equipment such as saws, drills, sanders, levels, ladders, and other carpentry-related equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and properly store materials and tools.
• Follow all Aramark and client safety procedures, including PPE requirements.
• Communicate project status, repair needs, and material requirements to supervisors.
• Support general facilities maintenance tasks as needed across the site.
