Job summary

New Kent Coatings is seeking an Industrial Painter Foreman to lead field crews across the Mid-Atlantic region. The role involves abrasive blasting, surface preparation, and applying coatings such as epoxy and urethane on critical infrastructure.

Travel is required with per diem provided for travel, and OSHA safety procedures are mandatory on all sites. The ideal candidate has prior field leadership in industrial painting, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Position Overview

We are seeking Industrial Painter Foremen to work on-site at various job locations across the Mid-Atlantic region. The ideal candidate has experience in industrial coatings and surface preparation or is eager to learn and grow in this field.

Key Responsibilities

• Experience leading an industrial painter crew in the field, keeping to production schedules, job site reporting, and more
• Abrasive blasting and surface preparation
• Experience running/operating/diagnosing/repairing industrial painting and blaster equipment such as paint pumps of all kinds, blast pots, etc.
• Application of industrial coatings (epoxy, urethane, etc.)
• Operate blasting/painting equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures
• Travel to job sites as required (per diem is provided for travel, but not all jobs are travel)

Qualifications

• Prior experience in industrial painting, sandblasting, or coatings application field team leadership
• Reliable transportation to job sites
• Willingness to travel for projects
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks (lifting, climbing, working at heights)

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with spray equipment and coating systems
• Knowledge of SSPC/NACE standards (a plus)
• Strong attention to detail
• Team player with a strong work ethic

Hourly Pay: $30 - $40

Schedule: Full-Time, M-F (overtime may be available)
