Nexus Disposal, Llc in Houston, TX is seeking a full-time painter to prepare and apply coating paints, mix colors, and operate spraying equipment. The role runs Monday–Friday with overtime as needed, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, and is based in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications include HS Diploma or GED, ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs, and a background check with drug screen. OT may be required.

Mansioni

• Select and mix coating paints to desired color and prepare spraying equipment.
• Follow direction from area lead and work independently when needed.
• Read technical documents on paint mixing procedures and maintain sprayer equipment.
• Improve painting techniques, meet productivity rates, and manage mil thickness.
• Clean spraying equipment daily with solvents.
• Operate the blaster to clean steel per safety requirements.
• Maintain respirator care and use breathing air supply when spraying epoxy paints.
• Apply touchups or second coats.
• Remove paint splatters after finishing.
• Mix, match, and apply paint, varnish, shellac, enamel.
• Scrape, sand, prime or seal surfaces; assist with grinding if needed.
