Job summary

Nexus Disposal in Houston, TX is seeking a versatile worker for grinding and painting duties in a warehouse setting. The role pays $16.00 to $18.00 per hour and follows a Mon-Fri schedule with Saturdays as needed. Shift runs 7:00 AM–4:00 PM.

Responsibilities include grinding, sanding, cleaning and polishing waste dumpsters and parts, applying coatings, following safety rules, and documenting production data as required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Background check, drug screen, and physical required.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Grind, sand, clean, or polish waste dumpsters or parts to remove defects.
• Paint duties: mix coatings, read procedures, and operate spray equipment.
• Inspect finished work pieces for quality and record data.
• Move equipment and parts between areas using moving devices.
• Repair and maintain equipment and tools as needed.
