Job summary

Chesterton is seeking a Painter – Facilities to perform full-time painting duties across our manufacturing plant on an on-site basis in Groveland, MA. You will prepare surfaces, apply paint and coatings, maintain tools and equipment, and help keep areas clean and safe under established safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have experience with brush, roller, and airless spray applications, and a track record in high-end interior painting.

Qualifications

• Experience with brush, roller, and airless spray applications.
• Experience providing high-end interior painting to customers.
• Previous professional painting experience preferred.
• Experience in surface preparation, sanding, patching, priming, and finish painting.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine painting and touch-up work on walls, doors, equipment, and surfaces.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and removing old paint as needed.
• Select paints and primers appropriate for surface and requirements.
• Inspect completed work for coverage, finish and quality and perform touch-ups.
