Job summary

BlueScope Buildings is seeking a Machine Operator to operate and maintain painting equipment that coats materials. You will load, feed, and unload material, run spray painter guns or dip tanks, and ensure correct paint thickness through quality checks along the line.

Responsibilities

• Operate spray painter gun or dip tank to apply industrial paint coating on material.
• Load, feed, and unload material through paint process.
• Select coatings and set up equipment to paint material.
• Clean and maintain paint equipment and perform quality checks on paint thickness.
• Ensure proper labeling and record-keeping for paint and solvent usage.
• Participate in housekeeping, 5-S, and continuous improvement activities.
