Job summary

Air Distribution Limited is seeking a paint line operator to load and unload the mechanized painting line, operate a moving hydraulic lift, and apply coatings with proper viscosity and spray control. You will mix paints, prepare spray equipment, and ensure coatings meet specified tolerances on the product.

Responsibilities include safe handling of coatings, cleaning equipment with solvent, and following hazardous waste procedures after training. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must be able to safely use PPE and follow safety procedures.
• Experience with paint mixing and viscosity adjustment.
• Familiarity with spray equipment and coatings.

Responsibilities

• Use and maintain PPE (personal protection equipment).
• Alternate with co-workers to load/unload the mechanized paint line.
• Operate and stand on a moving hydraulic personnel lift while spraying paint.
• Select correct coating to be applied to product.
• Mix paint to correct viscosity.
• Pours coating liquid into spray container and connects gun to air hose.
• Turns sprayer valves and nozzle to regulate width and pressure of spray.
• Pulls trigger and directs spray onto work surface to apply prime or finish coat to specific tolerance.
• Cleans spraying equipment and brushes with solvent.
• Responsible for proper hazardous waste container management and emergency response as required upon completion of required hazardous waste training.
• Other duties may be assigned.
