Hazelett Corporation is seeking an Industrial Painter & Blaster to join our Manufacturing team. You will prepare surfaces, blast rust, and apply industrial coatings to large custom built casting machines and components before shipment worldwide.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of industrial painting and abrasive blasting experience preferred.
• Experience applying industrial coatings with various spray equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and coating specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Safety-first mindset; follow established procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by abrasive blasting to remove rust, mill scale, contaminants, and old coatings.
• Apply industrial coatings, primers, epoxies, and polyurethane finishes using different spray methods.
• Paint and finish large fabricated assemblies, casting machines, and industrial equipment.
• Inspect surfaces and coatings for adhesion, thickness, and finish quality.
• Maintain painting and blasting equipment and tools.
• Read technical drawings, coating specs, TDs and SDSs.
• Document materials used and completed work accurately.
• Follow safety procedures, including respirators and PPE.
