Job summary

Diversified Construction & Design is seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to prepare, abrasive blast, coat, and finish structural steel, piping, tanks, equipment, and other industrial surfaces. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industrial coatings, surface preparation, abrasive blasting, and painting equipment.

You will work in industrial settings, read product data sheets and coating specifications, follow site safety rules, operate blasting and painting tools, and

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial painting and abrasive blasting.
• Familiarity with surface preparation and coating applications.
• Ability to read project specifications and SDS.
• Commitment to safety procedures and site rules.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting or coating by cleaning, scraping, sanding, grinding, pressure washing, and abrasive blasting.
• Perform abrasive blasting per project specifications and operate blasting equipment.
• Apply primers, paints, epoxies, and protective coatings using various spray methods.
• Mix coatings, monitor thickness, and ensure surface cleanliness and profile.
• Inspect surfaces and perform necessary touch-ups or repairs.
• Follow safety requirements and maintain a clean, organized work area.
