This position is responsible for preparing, painting, coating, and finishing metal components and industrial equipment while maintaining high standards for quality, coverage, and safety.The ideal candidate has previous industrial painting experience, understands proper surface preparation and coating application, and is comfortable working with spray guns and industrial painting equipment. Strong attention to detail is essential to ensure finished products meet required specifications and appearance standards.This position offers competitive pay of up to $30.00 per hour for highly and industrial equipment surfaces for painting• Clean surfaces to remove dirt, oil, residue, and other contaminants• Sand surfaces as required• Mask components and areas that should not receive coating• Mix paints and coatings according to applicable specifications• Prepare spray equipment for production• Apply primers, paints, coatings, and finishes• Operate industrial spray guns and related painting equipment• Maintain consistent spray patterns and coating coverage• Inspect completed products for quality and appearance• Identify thin coverage, missed areas, runs, or other finish defects• Complete touch-up work when required• Maintain painting equipment and related tools• Keep paint and preparation areas clean and organized• Follow all company safety and PPE requirements• Perform additional painting and production duties as assignedSurface Preparation ResponsibilitiesProper surface preparation is critical to producing a high-quality industrial finish.Candidates may perform:• Cleaning• Sanding• Masking• Surface inspection• Contaminant removal• Material preparation• Final preparation before coating applicationCandidates must maintain attention to detail throughout
