Industrial Painters are required to perform complex finishing operations in areas such as painting, dipping, plating, and polishing.

As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing surfaces by cleaning and applying adhesives or other preparations required before coating.
• Selecting, mixing, and preparing coating substances based on specific job requirements.
• Operating and setting up various types of coating machinery, such as spray guns or rollers.
• Monitoring the application process to ensure even distribution of coatings.
• Conducting quality assurance tests to verify thickness, adherence, and consistency of the coat.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment to comply with health and safety regulations.
• Recording process parameters and results accurately in production logs for quality control.
• Identifying and troubleshooting process or equipment problems to minimize downtime and waste.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years or more of related experience, which may include one year of trades training.
• A strong technical background in the industrial coating field, including quality control and application of special products such as HB Epoxies, Inorganic zinc silicates, and Phenolic epoxies.
