Job description

Position Title: Industrial Painter

Wage: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:00am - 4:30pm (Mon-Fri)

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity for an Industrial Painter at a company in Burlington, WI. This is a first shift position with the potential for permanent hire.

Industrial Painter Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Mix and thin paint or coatings to specified color and consistency according to customer requests.
2. Operate equipment and paint booths to cure and dry coatings.
3. Use lifting and moving devices to access areas to be painted.
4. Rack workpieces on skids, inspect, mark, and transfer finished products to staging/shipping areas.
5. Maintain cleanliness of paint booths, guns, and spraying equipment, including replacing screens and filters.
6. Keep records of paint issued and supplies inventory.
7. Follow good housekeeping practices in all work areas.
8. Adhere to all safety policies and practice safe work habits.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Industrial Painter Requirements:

1. Previous experience as an industrial painter is preferred.
2. Experience operating material handling equipment.
3. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
4. Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
5. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
6. High attention to safety to prevent injuries.
7. Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
8. Pass QPS and company screening processes.
