Job summary

DeSHAZO, LLC is seeking an Industrial Painter for its Alabama-based manufacturing environment. You will paint metal parts, prepare surfaces, and apply finishing coats in alignment with blueprints and customer specifications.

Responsibilities include setting up work areas, operating painting equipment safely, and ensuring quality on-time delivery. Candidates should have 1–2 years of relevant experience and familiarity with epoxy paints, with an emphasis on airless spray techniques.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1-2 years of experience as an Industrial Painter in a Manufacturing setting.

Job Summary

Painters use various painting techniques that will include but are not limited to wet paint spraying and several other techniques on metal parts. Material preparation such as sand blasting, cleaning, masking, among other techniques are required.

Job Duties

• Paint and apply finishing coats in accordance to blueprints and/or customer specifications.


• Set-up and maintain work areas and operate painting equipment in accordance with safety procedures.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Must have at least 1-2 years of experience as an Industrial Painter in a Manufacturing setting. (Non-residential painter)


• Familiarity with epoxy paint is a plus, epoxy & zinc are an even greater plus.


• Candidate must have experience with Airless paint sprayers.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Ability to stand/walk 95% of the workday.


• Carry/Lift up to 50 pounds with assistance of cranes and/or coworkers.


• Squat, twist, reach, climb, and bend frequently.


• Ability to push/pull up to 75 pounds with assistance of cranes and/or co/workers.


• Possess hand/eye coordination and bilateral dexterity (gross and fine)


• Possess depth perception and peripheral vision.


• Possess the ability to hear.


• Exposure to hot and cold conditions


• Subject to standing on hard surfaces up to 12 hours per day.


• Subject to exposure to dust, vapors, and other air contaminants. PPE required.
