Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for the Chicago-Western suburbs, IL territory. You will grow your territory by bringing in new business and developing repeat business relationships with engineers, maintenance and others using a consultative approach.

Qualifications

• Outside industrial sales experience in the industrial marketplace.
• Knowledgeable with valves and instrumentation; process flow control products is a bonus.
• Ability to establish rapport and build solid relationships at all levels of customer organizations.
• Proven experience developing new business, building repeat business, and managing a sales territory.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Computer skills; Profit 21 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Grow territory (and earnings) by bringing in new business and developing repeat business within existing accounts.
• Call on engineers, maintenance and others to determine needs through a consultative approach.
• Build strong relationships and achieve sales targets across Chicago-Western suburbs, IL.
