Job summary

Dow Inc. seeks an experienced Operational Technology Cyber Defense Specialist to protect our global manufacturing environment.

Based in Midland, MI or Houston, TX, you will serve as a senior OT security expert within the CSOC, guiding OT/ICS protection and threat response across Dow's industrial assets. You will develop OT-focused detections, investigate complex incidents, and mentor analysts while continuously evaluating threats and improving resilience in both manufacturing and enterprise

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience (U.S. E5 or Canadian equivalent) or 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Minimum 3 years of OT/cybersecurity experience.
• Deep knowledge of OT/ICS technologies (DCS, PLC, SCADA, industrial networks).
• Experience with security operations, incident response, threat hunting, or forensic investigations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as OT subject matter expert for industrial control systems and OT networks.
• Develop OT-focused detection use cases and monitoring capabilities (MITRE ATT&CK for ICs).
• Investigate security events affecting OT and enterprise environments; perform threat hunting and root cause analysis.
• Evaluate emerging threats and translate intelligence into actionable defenses.
• Create detection content, playbooks, and incident response guidance for OT monitoring.
