Job summary

RESA Power, LLC is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee a Wisconsin facility, focusing on profitability, efficiency, and mentoring the workforce. You will develop and implement growth strategies while ensuring adherence to best business practices at the location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience; minimum of 8 years of experience.
• Knowledge of industry standards such as NETA, NEC, OSHA and NFPA.
• Thorough understanding of heavy industrial, utility, large commercial, renewable energy and ability to troubleshoot complex business issues.
• Must be able to work safely and adhere to electrical safety procedures.
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills.
• Strong communication (written and oral).
• Able to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Customer-focused collaboration across the organization.
• Focus on accuracy and efficiencies.
• Valid driver’s license if required for company vehicle positions.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day operations of assigned location and/or department; provide solutions to local business topics.
• Hire and train direct reports; conduct interviews, set development goals, and mentor technicians; audit performance.
• Make recommendations for promotions, transfers, or exiting staff.
• Schedule work of local team and coordinate with other managers for larger jobs.
• Provide technical and practical options to internal/external customers; prepare quotes and review test reports; conduct job walks.
• Cultivate and maintain customer relationships with internal/external customers and vendors.
• Review jobs to ensure profitability goals are met; work with management on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare variety of reports as assigned.
• Collaborate with HSE to develop effective safety records and practices.
• Work flexible hours including weekends/holidays as needed.
• All work in compliance with regulatory law; observe safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
