Job summary

Airbus Aerosystems Kinston is seeking an Industrial Manager to lead operations in a composite manufacturing environment. You will oversee a Multi-Functional Team, drive Lean initiatives, ensure on-time, quality delivery, and continuously improve processes in line with the Airbus Operating System.

Strong leadership, communication, and SAP/Google Workplace proficiency are required. Travel 5-15% domestically and internationally; 100% onsite with safety PPE as required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar required or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of relevant work experience in industrial engineering or similar role.
• Knowledge of production and quality rules in aviation.
• Lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Fluency in written and spoken English; additional languages desirable.
• Technical proficiency in SAP and Google Workplace.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Operations & Multi Functional team in a composite manufacturing environment.
• Lead and align a Multi Functional Team to deliver priorities with functional support.
• Monitor and optimize industrial flow ensuring alignment with quality standards.
• Lead improvement using Airbus Operating System and data/analysis.
• Identify root causes of quality issues and eliminate defects.
• Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with Widebody VSM and central Airbus entities.
