Job summary

SEKISUI Aerospace - Orange City Operations is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor to lead a team in developing and improving composite part fabrication processes, tools, and equipment. You will drive process development, shop floor support, and tool design to deliver quality products.

The role emphasizes Lean/Six Sigma practices, FMEA, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering is required, with CAD and ERP experience

Qualifications

• Detailed understanding of GD&T.
• Experience in Work Instruction creation.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication; produce technical customer documents.
• Implement continuous improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen.
• Review drawings, models, engineering specs and orders.
• Define operation sequences for efficient fabrication/assembly of composites.
• Implement/improve new manufacturing processes.
• Establish qualification plans for processes and equipment.
• Design development requirements for equipment, robotics, lay-up molds, fixtures.
• Perform safety, FMEA and TPM analyses.
• Understand basic industrial engineering practices; time studies and value engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing or mechanical engineering.
• Experience with Catia V5, Inventor, SolidWorks or CADs.
• ERP experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor other engineers.
• Develop tools, processes, machines and equipment to integrate facilities for quality products with optimal capital.
• Apply statistical methods to control processes and boost productivity.
• Create work instructions and BOMs.
