Job summary

Acadian Companies is seeking a qualified EMS professional to provide ambulance coverage in an industrial environment. You will deliver Basic to Advanced Life Support and coordinate transport to medical facilities, while maintaining equipment, documentation, and safety standards.

Location includes Lubbock and Haskell, Texas. This full-time role requires 1+ year EMS experience, Texas EMS license (ACLS/Paramedic preferred), and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Texas EMS license; National Registry a plus.
• Minimum of 1 year EMS/ALS/BLS experience.
• BLS required. ACLS (Paramedic required).
• Current and valid state driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must read/write and communicate professionally with employees and managers.
• Knowledgeable of company protocols, procedures and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Documents all patient condition and treatment on EMS run reports.
• Conducts regular equipment inventory and testing; ensures equipment is present, clean and functional.
• Documents and reports needed repairs to maintenance departments and supervisors.
• Examines patient for signs of illness or injury and assists other medical personnel.
• Provides basic, intermediate or advanced life support care prior to and during transport.
• Transports patient safely to the medical facility and transfers care information on arrival.
• Returns ambulance and equipment to service after transport.
• Assists with use of basic extrication tools when necessary; manages scene safety.
• Follows FCC regulations when communicating via electronic equipment.
• Attends mandatory company meetings; completes 12-hour shift duties.
• Orders and maintains medical supplies and coordinates with Central Supply.
• Assists with safety inspections and client inspections.
• Performs record keeping and data entry as required.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Texas EMS license

National Registry (NREMT) certification

ACLS certification (Paramedic required)

Current and valid state driver’s license
