Job summary

Briggs Industrial Solutions in Houston, TX, seeks a skilled technician to diagnose, service, and repair material handling equipment at customer sites and in the shop. The role demands strong mechanical aptitude, problem solving, and customer-focused communication.

You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and component replacement while documenting repairs and maintaining parts and tools. A valid license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years forklift repair experience preferred.
• Trade school or related mechanical training is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild material handling equipment at customer locations and in the shop.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, failure analysis, and component replacement.
• Document repairs, track parts, and keep the vehicle clean, stocked, and safe.
• Follow safety procedures, DOT/OSHA guidelines, and manufacturer specifications.
• Be available for a 24/7 on-call schedule as needed.
