Job summary

Briggs Industrial Solutions is seeking an on-site forklift technician in Louisiana to diagnose, repair, and maintain material handling equipment. You will work to keep fleets running safely and reliably, performing preventive maintenance and repairs as needed.

The role requires hands-on mechanical skills, strong diagnostic abilities, and a commitment to safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of forklift repair or related experience.
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic, problem-solving and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild forklifts and other material handling equipment, including engines, hydraulics, electrical, brakes, steering, and lifting systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to identify mechanical and safety concerns.
• Follow Briggs safety standards and applicable OSHA and DOT requirements while maintaining a Safety First mindset.
