Job summary

Traka (Assa Abloy) in Berlin, CT is seeking a Network Infrastructure Technician to install, maintain, and support physical network infrastructure across a large manufacturing environment. You will plan cable routes, install drops, terminate at patch panels, and manage server racks.

This hands-on role requires attention to detail, safety-conscious work in an industrial setting, and the ability to document cable runs and rack layouts.

Qualifications

• Experience with structured cabling, labeling, and termination.
• Ability to install and maintain patch panels, wall jacks, and racks.
• Familiarity with UPS/battery backup systems and basic switch work.

Responsibilities

• Plan and install physical network drops in office, warehouse, and production areas.
• Terminate lines at wall jacks and patch panels with labeled installations.
• Maintain and reorganize network/server racks and cabling.
• Monitor UPS systems and support hardware remediation as needed.
• Document cable routes, rack layouts, and changes to infrastructure.
