Job summary

Traka (Assa Abloy) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform installation, general maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, structures, and piping systems at our Fort Worth site. You will inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems, emphasizing preventive maintenance and safety practices.

The role requires 3–5 years of related experience, completion of an apprenticeship is a plus, and readiness to work in non-climate-controlled environments with full PPE.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a 3–5 year apprenticeship is a plus.
• Degree or certificate in a maintenance or technical field is a plus.
• 3–5 years of related maintenance experience (electrical & mechanical) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair electrical apparatus and components of machinery and equipment.
• Set up and operate machine tools (lathe, grinder, drill, milling) to repair or fabricate parts.
• Install, program, or repair automated machinery and equipment including robots or PLCs.
• Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems and perform visual tests and checks.
• Troubleshoot unusual machine noises and diagnose operating variations with supervisors.
• Repair or dismantle faulty equipment and install new or repaired parts.
• Clean and lubricate gears, bearings, shafts, and other machinery parts.
• Layout, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
