Responsibilities

• Make or assist in installations and alignments of equipment, including repositioning and initial installation; perform precision alignment.
• Test run machines and equipment while diagnosing or repairing before production.
• Perform welding, brazing, burning and heating as required.
• Move material and equipment between work areas using transport equipment.
• Work from blueprints, repair manuals, and materials as instructed; detect and report faulty operation.
• Maintain clean, orderly work areas and keep necessary records.
