Genesis Technical Staffing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Millwright to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy industrial machinery in a fast-paced plant environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in heavy manufacturing, holds a Journeyman Millwright certification, and can read blueprints, interpret schematics, and perform precision alignments. This role requires safety focus, teamwork, and the ability to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; technical/trade schooling in Industrial Maintenance preferred.
• Journeyman Millwright certification preferred or equivalent industrial maintenance experience.
• Five+ years of industrial millwright experience in heavy manufacturing, steel, mining, or oil/gas.
• Experience maintaining conveyors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with precision alignment, vibration analysis, bearing installation, and equipment rebuilding.
• Welding, cutting, and basic fabrication experience.
• CMMS experience.
• Experience around overhead cranes and heavy lifting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery and production equipment.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical failures to minimize downtime.
• Install, align, and rebuild pumps, gearboxes, motors, conveyors, fans, compressors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Perform precision shaft alignment, bearing installation, equipment leveling, and balancing.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
• Fabricate, modify, and repair equipment using welding and cutting when required.
• Rigging and equipment moves using overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting devices.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and plant improvement projects.
• Document maintenance activities using CMMS.
• Collaborate with electricians, operators, engineers, and supervisors to improve reliability.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Follow safety policies including Lockout/Tagout, confined space, fall protection, and hot work procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
