Job summary

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship certificate in Mechanical trade or 6 years experience.
• Able to pass GM hiring process including assessments and background check.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Willing to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
• Must be able to read blueprints and interpret schematics.

Responsibilities

• Follow OSHA safety procedures and company rules.
• Maintain, dismantle, repair, and replace mechanical and hydraulic components on industrial machinery.
• Layout, assemble, and repair piping systems.
• Operate CNC lathes, mills, and grinders to spec.
• Read blueprints for conveyors, robots, and automation.
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy.
