Job summary

hth companies is seeking a Millwright to repair, maintain, and facilitate installation of industrial equipment used in manufacturing and production operations. The candidate will work on pumps, compressors, gearboxes, conveyors, and piping, reading technical instructions and blueprints.

The role requires reading schematics, using hand and power tools, and willingness to work in varied conditions. OSHA 10-hour certification is required within 60 days, with emphasis on safety and quality

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of successful completion of OSHA 10 hour within 60 days of starting.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to use a variety of tools, which may include blowtorches, saws, pipe benders, and welding torches.
• Strong safety practices and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper operation of large industrial equipment such as power generators, turbines, mining devices, assembly line machinery, and machinist tools.
• Assembles, installs, aligns, and adjusts piping, valves, pumps, and other equipment using hand tools and power tools.
• Conducts tests to ensure machines meet specifications and makes necessary adjustments.
• Dismantles existing equipment and assists with installation of new or refurbished machinery.
• Performs preventive maintenance and safety inspections; maintains safety logs and records.
