Job summary

hth companies is seeking a Millwright to repair, maintain, and facilitate installation of industrial equipment across manufacturing sites. You will install, dismantle, repair, reassemble, and move equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, and conveyors, reading highly technical instructions and blueprints.

Candidates must be able to work in varied conditions (wet/dry, hot/cold, outdoor/indoor) and use a range of hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with welding, brazing, and cutting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper operation of large industrial equipment such as power generators, turbines, mining devices, assembly line machinery, and machinist tools.
• Uses hand and power tools to assemble, install, align, and adjust piping, valves, pumps, and other equipment.
• Ensures machines perform to specifications by conducting tests and fine-tuning.
• Dismantles existing equipment and prepares for repairs or upgrades.
• Gathers and assembles parts for repairs or modifications based on blueprints.
• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on older machines.
• Maintains safety compliance and safety logs.
