Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a Journeyman with strong field experience to install, align and commission machinery as per layout plans and drawings. You will read blueprints, dismantle and reassemble equipment, and work with cranes and power tools on-site.

Applicants should be able to interpret manuals, plan tasks, and maintain safety standards while performing mechanical installations and alignments in industrial settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with related field experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret layout plans.
• Experience installing and aligning machinery per specifications.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and manuals to determine work procedures.
• Dismantle machines using hand tools and assist with installation.
• Move and position equipment with hoists and dollies.
• Assemble and install equipment on foundations using tools.
• Align machines using hoists, jacks and precision instruments.
• Install robot programs and modify as needed.
• Perform lubrication, cleaning and minor repairs.
• Observe safety and project rules; perform other duties as required.
