Job summary

Qualifications

• 4 years work experience as an industrial millwright or completion of a related vocational curriculum with 2 years’ experience.

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures; dismantles machines and moves machinery.
• Assembles and installs machines and tests them for correct operation.
• Ensures compliance with safety regulations.
• Manages layout of equipment to minimize downtime in factory settings.
• Repairs problematic parts by running tests or installing new parts.
• Oversees preventive maintenance and lubrication of components.
• Operates equipment like forklifts to move parts.
• Performs other duties as assigned and maintains a safe, orderly workspace.
