Qualify with a high school diploma or GED and 3+ years of maintenance experience, or equivalent through an apprenticeship or certificate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Certificate with 3+ years experience qualifies.
• Completed maintenance mechanic apprenticeship program or equivalent with 2+ years experience.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Experience using a computer for basic record-keeping and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Assist crew members in a team environment.
• Operate equipment when needed.
• Keep work area clean before, after, and during shift.
• Maintain all safety guards on equipment.
• Follow lock out/tag out procedures for safety.
• Perform assigned preventative maintenance tasks.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and work up to 12 hours/day in a loud, hot, dusty environment.
• Wear appropriate PPE and comply with safety rules.
