Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Mechanical aptitude and basic electrical knowledge.
Welding skills and ability to read schematics.
Ability to read technical writing and perform math calculations.
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic principles.
Experience in alignment and power transmission.
Proficient with hand and power tools.
Fire and chemical hazard knowledge.
Experience working on high bay overhead crane.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair equipment that has failed.
Maintain equipment to insure a trouble-free operation.
Perform repairs in a quick and safe manner.
Report any unusual machine action or noise.
Complete equipment preventive maintenance activities to maximize plant up time.
