CF&I Steel, L.P. in Pueblo, Colorado is seeking a Mill Electrical Technician to maintain electrical, electronic and combustion-instrumentation systems across the mill.

The role reports to the Superintendent of Maintenance and offers a pathway from trainee to journeyman through RMSM training. Candidates must have an apprenticeship equivalence or a journeyman license, 1–3 years in heavy industry, and strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills.

Formación

• Must have completed or equivalent of a craft apprenticeship in one of three crafts: Combustion-Instrumentation Technician, Electronic Repairman or Electrical Inspector (Maintenance Electrician).
• 1–3 years of experience as an electrician in heavy industry, manufacturing, or mining preferred.
• Valid Colorado license and mobile equipment qualification.
• Strong troubleshooting, repair and installation skills.
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot, repair, dismantle, assemble and install equipment throughout the mill.
• Work with Electric Shop, Combustion Lab and Electronic Shop equipment.
• Observe lockout procedures and maintain safe work areas.
• Operate overhead cranes and work in varied environmental conditions.
