Job summary

Turner Mining Group is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to keep plant equipment running safely and reliably in a heavy industrial setting. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair crushers, screens, conveyors, and rotating equipment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in industrial mechanical maintenance, experience in mining or heavy manufacturing, reads blueprints, and can weld and align equipment. High school diploma required; technical training a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience.
• Background in mining, heavy manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with welding & equipment alignment.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Safety-focused, dependable and able to work independently.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Technical training/certifications are a plus!

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting & repairs
• Repair/rebuild crushers, screens & conveyor systems
• Install & align bearings, belts, chains and rotating equipment
• Troubleshoot hydraulic & pneumatic systems
• Perform basic welding & torch cutting
• Assist with equipment installation, rigging & plant outages
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation
