Job summary

Turner Mining Group is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance professional to safely inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild plant and quarry equipment, supporting uptime and production goals in a heavy industrial setting.

You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, install and align mechanical components, support pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and contribute to continuous improvement and reliability initiatives while following safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: Comply with all company, MSHA, and regulatory safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Maintenance Execution: Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment; disassemble, repair, and rebuild crushing, screening, and conveying equipment; install and align mechanical components including bearings, belts, chains, and rotating equipment; support pneumatic and hydraulic systems; basic welding and torch work.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose mechanical issues and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime; troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and environmental systems; use precision tools to support diagnostics and repairs.
• Equipment Installation & Alignment: Install and align new equipment; perform shaft alignments and equipment setup; support rigging and lifting during installation and maintenance.
• Work Management & Documentation: Complete work orders and maintenance reports; participate in work order planning; track inventory parts and materials.
• General Maintenance Support: Maintain tools and work areas; operate mobile equipment; support plant outages and major repairs; perform other duties as assigned.
